New website, new branding, same old Elle
So, what do you think?
I've been working on this website, and my new branding for what feels like forever! In reality, it's probably been six months. And truthfully? It could have been half that if I hadn't been so horrifically indecisive.
I originally did the whole thing up with this theme, which might look vaguely familiar if you follow me on facebook, because that's what I'm currently rocking over there.
It was nice enough. But kind of boring. Which was why i could never bring myself to hit publish on the website.
Then one day, a few weeks back, I posted this video on social media.
And people seemed to like it. My parentals have a little alpaca farm, and i spend a ton of time there, writing on their back deck, helping out and just generally running around trying to squish the animals because they're so stinkin' cute.
What does that have to do with writing and books? Well, amongst my writing friends, I'm known as the drama llama. I love my romances full of drama and angst (along with humour, chemistry and swoon worthy book boyfriends). So then i started thinking, well, I'm a bit of a drama llama. And i have these llamas (or rather, alpacas. But whatever. Who even knows the difference?). Why don't i build a brand around it?
So I did!
Have a poke around the site, and let me know what you think! And be sure to check in regularly for book updates, giveaways, and drama llama fun! I'll be back on the blog tomorrow to talk about Camp nanowrimo!
